  • Record $12,200,000 jury verdict in St. Clair County for drowning victim after rejecting an insurance company offer of $200,000.
  • A West Palm Beach Florida jury returned a verdict of $11,500,000 against a retailer who sold a gun and ammunition to a visibly drunk purchaser in violation of Federal Law. The retailer had offered $300,000 to settle the case. The case settled for $10,500,000 after the Florida Supreme Court Affirmed the verdict.
  • A widow whose son was brain injured in an automobile accident had been caring for her some for more than 20 years. During that time she was cheated out of benefits that she was legally entitled to under the Michigan No-Fault Act. The insurance company paid her $7,875,000.
  • A local hospital paid more than $5,000,000 pre suit as a result of severe damages to a newborn due to an infection after birth.
